The Explorer 16′ is a very versatile canoe as it is suitable for all kinds of activities, from hunting, fishing, camping, expeditions or family hikes. It is a canoe that can be paddled by both beginners and experts. Its 38″ width makes it the most stable boat in our range and its large capacity allows for safe expeditions.
The Explorer 16′ was developed from our Huron red cedar model, which has been highly appreciated for decades. It offers exceptional weight compared to the cedar model. It is our most versatile model that can be appreciated by all types of paddlers.
