The Trapper 14′ is a replica of the Trapper 12′ but is more spacious, which makes it even more enjoyable to paddle in tandem. Its load capacity is also higher. This 14′ canoe is just as elegant as its 12′ counterpart but has better stability, which makes it pleasant for short or long trips.
Like most of our models, this canoe is built in red cedar. The interior skeleton is in white cedar, the gunwales are in ash and the parts are made of mahogany. Our benches are woven with sinew in the traditional way. The hull is covered with a fiberglass canvas and an epoxy coating, all coated with marine varnish with protection against ultraviolet rays.
