The Trapper 12′ is a stylized cedar canoe with snub noses. It can be paddled solo or in tandem and has very good stability. Elegant and with little rocker, it handles well. Its size makes it easy to portage.
Like most of our models, this canoe is built of red cedar. The interior skeleton is white cedar, the gunwales are ash and the parts are made of mahogany. Our benches are woven with sinew in the traditional way. The hull is covered with fiberglass canvas and an epoxy coating, all coated with marine varnish with protection against ultraviolet rays.
